Our Capabilities
Here at True Spec Finishes we are capable of finishing a wide variety of parts. Below is a list of some of the equipment that we have to provide you with quality metal finishing.
Inside our main building we are equipped with a 10 ton bridge crane which enables us to handle your larger parts with ease.
For turning parts to leave an even finish we have a couple of different machines. First, we have a 20 ft. lathe the allows us to turn parts up to 18 inches in diameter. Our second machine is used for parts with a diameter larger than 18 inches. This machine can be used vertically or horizontally giving us the ability to turn a wide variety of parts.
True Spec Finishes also provides three different chemical cleaning processes for the cleaning of metal. We offer a dipping process for the cleaning of corrosion on most types of metal, including carbon steel, galvanized, and many others. Another cleaning process that we offer is chemical
passivation of stainless steel. In this process we use a nitric acid mixture to remove the free iron from the surface of stainless material.
True Spec Finishes also offers electropolishing of stainless steel. In this process the stainless material is placed in an electrolyte solution and electric current is passed through the metal. Electropolishing descales the surface, removing oxides and impurities and leaves a sterile, bright, passive finish.
In addition to our main building we also have a 11x11x20 ft. bead blasting cabinet. Our blasting cabinet allows up to blast any part that will fit inside in any weather condition.
